S01E30 On the way back to Mountain hall, the party had to defeat a terrifying Hill Troll. Its lair yielded a nice bag of gold which lifted the companions' spirits. Once at the hold in the mountains, they told Hartfast of Magric's betrayal, Wellar's rescue, Byrgol's aims and that the threat from the Dwimmerhorn was real according to the rescued man. Hartfast would need time to assemble a force to contend with the evil base so asked the party to once again return and find out more about what threat they all faced. They were introduced to a chipper representative of Radagast called Banna who was asked to deliver an update back to the brown wizard. Rested and resupplied, the fellowship headed south with a boat and a small contingent from Mountain Hall, crossed back over the Gladden and with Byrgol's help have now found the imposing Dwimmerhorn, a stone fortress atop a hill. One of the larger building occasionally flickers, lit within by a sickly green light.

S01E35 The Temple of Dark Gods claimed two of the party. Although, powerful healing herbs brought them back to life and restored them they are worn out and wish only to rest. Sylke has rejoined the party though the demon haunted city is taking a toll on her mental well-being. The companions need to head back to the palace, rest, recuperate and take stock.

S01E29 Previously on: Walar, the slave from the Dwimmerhorn, spoke of the many orcs, wargs and slaves at the evil fortress. With this information the party withdrew northwards to the Gladden to rendezvous with their water transport, manned by two fishermen. They never showed so could be assumed to have been waylaid by orcs. As the adventurers waited they met a hobbit, Byrgol, the last of his community that once thrived in the area. He vowed to one day to resettle the Gladden Fields so his people could prosper once again. The fellowship convinced him and Walar to accompany then north to Mountain Hall but have stopped at Trader's Island first to restock. It is now time to leave.

S01E34 One of the Portal rods and the Aisling Stone have been recovered but at a cost. Only Victoria has exited the tomb unscathed. Cran has suffered multiple wounds but will live though the rest of their companions' fates hang in the balance. Numal has been battered into unconsciousness, Ugnan possibly dead with a heart attack and a heavily bleeding Cherry has been mauled by a large silver salamander. Sylke has fled the temple, invisible but alone, surrounded by the demons of Tarek-Nev.

S01E28 Previously on: The fellowship have been searching the marshes of the Gladden fields for a dark fortress, the Dwimmerhorn. It was briefly sighted through the mists but was quickly lost again. Trudging through the mud towards the estimated position, the group stumbled into a group of orcs and wolves, led by a Great Orc, who were chasing a man. The party's guide, Magric, betrayed them by warning the evil band of the ambush waiting for them, then fled into the marsh. Battle was joined. Once the Wargs were slain, the orcs, clearly suffering in the sunshine, were no match for the seasoned adventurers, only the Great Orc posing much of a problem before he too fell. The man has been saved, so what's his story?

S01E33 With more help from the mysterious god, Orgiana, the undead high priests were neutralised but the shadowy spirits remained. A plan was hatched to run past them all and out into relative safety. Alas, the terror they exuded was not factored in and whilst some were able to run the gauntlet others weren't, transfixed by fear. The party are now split. Sylke has run away. Cherry dithers in the corridor beyond the others who try to fight their way through to her, hampered by the gibbering Numal and the overpowering dread of the malevolent shades.

S01E27 Squelching along upon the Gladden fields, the fellowship have gone in search of a dark tower, the Dwimmerhorn, trying to ascertain if it exists, its purpose and its master. They were rewarded with the sight of some sort of structure in the distance but, like the gold at the end of a rainbow, could not close the distance until the vision was lost in the mists. Following their instincts, the companions pressed on but were halted by cries of alarm ahead. A manacled desperate man, emerged from the bushes, hotly pursued by orcs and wolves, a fearsome black orc leading them. Before the party could spring their ambush, their guide, Magric, bolted from them, crying out to warn the enemy. We join them just as the battle has started.

S01E32 Two of the three artefacts now recovered, the companions are trapped in an underground chamber by undead spell casting high priests. With Orgiana's help the party were able to fend off the initial assault but three of the deadly shades remain, barrier walls keeping them at bay for now though even those are being relentlessly broken down. As if things weren't bad enough, Victoria is possessed by one of the vanquished foes, we join as she slides behind Cran and lashes out with the deadly doubled bladed scythe, Remorse.

S01E26 Orcs had been sneaking around Mountain hall but the locals had quickly chased them off though not before a watchman had been assaulted then thrown off the cliff edge. Lucky for him, he had been spotted on a ledge by Sigmarr who organised his rescue. Hathus expertly healed him, saving his life. Hartfast, the leader of Mountain Hall, showed his thanks by making the companions, "Friends of the Berg" and a small celebration was held in their honour. Leaving Mountain Hall, resolved to ultimately check out the dark fortress, Dwimmerhorn, in the Gladden Fields the fellowship made for Trader's Island, an ideal setting off point. The journey was largely uneventful and we join the party as they arrive on the Island.

S01E31 A portal rod has been found! Unfortunately it was highly magnetic so could not be moved from its deadly spear spouting metal frame. The irresistible magnetic force announced itself by pulling the platemail wearing Cran onto the pole-arms, spitting him like a kebab. Later, the metal clad Victoria was yanked in too and smashed against the icewall cast to protect against the spears. Seconds from death she was healed in time but it left Ugnan carrying a debilitating injury who was laid down to rest, out of the proceedings for now. As he drifted in and out, he heard Orgiana's voice in his head again, this time giving warning that danger approached and an offer to help. Trying to resist falling any further into the Dark Gods service, he politely refused. Warned of the oncoming threat, the two main warriors, now devoid of metal arms and armour to be able to move about the room, looked for something to defend themselves with just as Numal confirmed the presence of dark shapes stalking down the corridor towards the cornered party...
